Duncan Sweeney is a Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Physician based in Hobart, Tasmania.

Duncan completed his medical degree at the University of Tasmania in 2014, before going on to complete his training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at the Austin Hospital and the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2022.

Duncan is employed at the Royal Hobart Hospital as a staff specialist in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, where he manages both inpatient and outpatient issues across the breadth of respiratory and sleep medicine, including performing flexible bronchoscopy and linear endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS).

Duncan also practices privately, consulting on patients with sleep disorders including sleep-disordered breathing, as well as the assessment of non-respiratory sleep conditions (hypersomnolence, parasomnias etc) as well as reporting on ambulatory sleep studies.
